Precious metals use fresh hourly spot references, with daily snapshots retained for history and fallback. WTI and Brent add indicative rolling-futures references checked every 15 minutes while keeping delayed daily EIA spot history separate. Industrial metals, Dubai and US natural gas use monthly averages. Check each observation date before comparing prices. See sources and update frequency →

Gold and silver price per gram, ounce and kilogram.
Quick answer: at the latest hourly spot reference (2 Nov 2026, 14:10 UTC), one gram of gold is worth about $127.03 and one kilogram about $127,034. One troy ounce is 31.1035 grams.
Fine-metal reference values converted with reference exchange rates dated 2026-11-02. They exclude dealer premiums, making charges and tax, so a shop price for a coin, bar or piece of jewellery will differ. See the gold price chart, the silver price chart or the troy ounce guide.
Both ratios divide two hourly spot references of the same kind. They describe relative value, not a forecast.

Are these live trading prices?
No. Gold, silver, platinum and palladium show an hourly spot reference, with daily history behind it. WTI and Brent show an indicative futures reference checked every 15 minutes, alongside delayed daily EIA spot history. Industrial metals, Dubai and US natural gas use monthly averages. The label and time beside each price identify its basis. None of these values is an executable dealer quote. The methodology explains the source and frequency of each series.
Why do prices differ between websites?
Compare the observation time, currency, unit and type of price. A daily reference, monthly average, futures settlement and dealer offer measure different things. Retail products also include premiums and costs. Use the bullion premium calculator to examine a quoted purchase price.
Which currency and unit should I choose?
Choose from 14 display currencies. Precious metals default to troy ounces, industrial metals to metric tonnes, crude oil to barrels and US natural gas to MMBtu. Metal charts also support grams and other weights. Historical currency conversions use the latest reference FX rate across the series, so they do not show historical returns in that currency.
