price-chart.com does not require an account. Currency preferences may be saved in your browser local storage. Calculator inputs stay in your browser; price requests contain the selected metal, currency and unit, not your entered holdings.
If you submit the contact form, we store your message and the optional name, email and page URL for operator review. A keyed hash of your network address is used for submission rate limits. Contact records should be deleted when no longer needed for correspondence or corrections. The server may retain operational access logs, including IP addresses, request paths and timestamps, for troubleshooting and abuse prevention. No advertising trackers are installed. We measure visits with Matomo, an analytics platform we host ourselves at tracking.price-chart.com; it records pages viewed, referrers and basic device information, may set first-party analytics cookies, and its data is not shared with an analytics vendor or used for advertising. The chart library and editorial images load from this site.
On pages with interactive maps, your browser requests visible map tiles from OpenStreetMap after the map nears the viewport. Those requests can disclose normal connection data such as your IP address and this site’s origin to the OpenStreetMap Foundation and are governed by its privacy policy. We do not preload or bulk-download tiles.
