This directory separates company securities from crude benchmarks. It identifies listed producers, refiners and pipeline operators connected to Canadian heavy oil, Oman, Murban and an OPEC basket component, then shows delayed USD share or ADR charts where comparable US-market history is available.
Choose a company to inspect its daily closing-price history. Each line is USD per listed share or ADR and reflects the whole company. It is not a crude-oil price and should not be compared with a barrel price on the same scale.

The relationship column describes why the company appears here. It does not imply that a security tracks one benchmark, one crude grade or one asset.

The six refineries below can process at least 2,692,000 barrels per day in aggregate on their published capacity bases. Capacity measures crude or feedstock entering a refinery. It does not equal the barrels of finished products leaving each day.
Operator-published crude, refining or total-throughput capacity. Hover or tap a bar for the exact basis.
| Refinery and operator | Owner or related listing | Published daily capacity | Annual equivalent at that rate | What the number means |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dangote Petroleum RefineryDangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals · Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria | Privately held | 700,000 b/d Published crude-distillation capacity | 255.5 million barrels | Capacity is the maximum crude-distillation rate stated by the operator, not a daily production report. |
| Edmonton RefinerySuncor Energy · Strathcona County, Alberta, Canada | TSX / NYSE: SU | 159,000 b/d Published refining capacity | 58.0 million barrels | Suncor publishes current plant capacity; actual refinery throughput varies with utilization and maintenance. |
| Port Arthur RefineryValero Energy · Port Arthur, Texas, United States | NYSE: VLO | 435,000 b/d Published throughput capacity | 158.8 million barrels | The operator describes this as throughput capacity for crude oil and other feedstocks. |
| Humber RefineryPhillips 66 · North Lincolnshire, United Kingdom | NYSE: PSX | 221,000 b/d crude Published crude-throughput capacity | 80.7 million barrels | Phillips 66 also states 245,000 b/d total throughput; the chart uses the separately reported crude figure. |
| Duqm RefineryOQ8 (OQ and Kuwait Petroleum International) · Duqm, Oman | OQ / KPI joint venture; not exchange listed | 255,000 b/d Reported operating refining capacity | 93.1 million barrels | OQ8 reported this rate in February 2025 as 110% of its original 230,000 b/d nameplate capacity. |
| Ruwais RefineryADNOC Refining · Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates | ADNOC with Eni (BIT / NYSE: ENI / E) and OMV (VIE: OMV) | More than 922,000 b/d Published crude-and-condensate refining rate | More than 336.5 million barrels | The operator states that the site refines more than 922,000 barrels per stream day; the chart plots 922,000 as a conservative floor. |
A 435,000-barrel-per-day refinery may run below that rate during maintenance or above a former nameplate rate after debottlenecking. Company-wide throughput must not be assigned to one refinery unless the company reports it that way.
Crude and other feedstocks become gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, petrochemical feedstocks and heavier products. Processing gains, losses and non-crude inputs mean the finished-product total need not equal crude intake barrel for barrel.
The annual column multiplies the published daily rate by 365. It shows scale if that rate were sustained all year; it is not reported annual production.
Producers extract oil and gas. Their results can reflect production volume, realised prices, royalties, operating costs, hedging and assets that have no direct link to the benchmark you are viewing.
Integrated companies can produce crude and refine it into fuels and chemicals. Refining margins may respond differently from upstream crude prices, especially when feedstock discounts or product demand changes. Read why US refinery design can make imported heavy crude useful.
Pipeline operators earn from transport infrastructure and contracted services. Capacity can affect regional crude differentials, but the company security remains a separate instrument with its own financing and operating risks.
Use the WCS price and WTI discount to study Canadian heavy oil, the Oman benchmark and Murban benchmark for company relationships in the Middle East, and the OPEC Basket component table for the difference between a member-country crude and a listed company. For dated plant-level evidence rather than nameplate capacity, review the Russian refinery operating-status map.
No. A share price reflects the whole company, including production, refining, transport, costs, debt, dividends and market expectations. It is a separate instrument from a crude benchmark.
The directory retains verified exchange codes for companies listed outside the comparable US share and ADR series used by the interactive chart.
The refinery-capacity section reports operator-published barrels-per-day capacity for six plants. Capacity is an input or throughput measure, not a promise of daily refined-product output; actual rates change with maintenance, feedstocks and utilization.
The Canada section includes listed oil-sands and heavy-oil producers plus Enbridge as a pipeline operator. WCS itself is a blended benchmark, not a company.
No. They are intergovernmental groups. Some national or international companies connected to member-country production are listed, while many national oil companies are state-owned and unlisted.
Company shares and crude prices are different instruments. Use these pages to check the benchmark definition, price period and regional market before comparing it with a company.
